Also known as breast implant surgery or Breast Enhancement. This is a cosmetic surgery procedure designed to improve the appearance of the breasts by surgically placing a saline-filled breast implant or silicone gel filled breast implant. Dr. Howard pioneered endoscopic breast augmentation using the armpit incision for a less invasive surgical procedure over 20 years ago.
Also known as mastopexy. This is a cosmetic procedure to lift the breasts. Breast lift surgery is often performed in conjunction with breast augmentation to help restore volume and a more youthful appearance. In some cases, Dr .Howard may recommend the lift be performed first to allow for proper healing, then follow with the addition of an implant to improve volume at a later date.
Also known as Body Contouring, this is a cosmetic surgical procedure that removes unwanted fat. Liposuction is not a weight loss surgery, but very ideal for those stubborn areas that diet and exercise don't always target so well such as the tummy, thighs, buttock, hips, and love-handles.
Also known as "tummy tuck, this is a surgical procedure that tightens the abdomen due to loose skin and muscle after weight loss or childbirth. Insurance does not always cover this procedure completely as it is considered a cosmetic procedure. In some cases, insurance may cover a portion if a significant amount of loose skin is present causes medical issues. Dr. Howard is only in-network for Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance.
Also known as male breast reduction, this is a procedure to restore the chest on men to a more masculine appearance. In many cases, this procedure can be performed in the office under local anesthesia. Most men are able to return to a normal schedule within a few days to a week.
Cosmetic Surgery procedures designed to address the signs of aging on the hands. Procedures included skin resurfacing to reduce age spots, and fat injections or (fat transfer) to replace tissue loss from the aging process.
